Pre & Postnatal programmes
Both phases, PRE- and POST-natal, play an essential role in a woman’s life and should be discussed and planned in detail. When explaining to women the postural changes that occur during pregnancy, it is my mission to inform them about the amazing changes and challenges that pregnancy and motherhood will bring to their bodies, to their posture and eventually to their appearance.
Ivana Daniell Pre & Postnatal programmes
Many mums-to-be will get so taken up and busy with the planning of their baby’s growth and arrival that they often disregard the changes to their physique and to their posture. They carry on with their lives, their jobs, until one day they wake up with excruciating lower back pain, and they don’t know what to do. Sadly, they will accept the pain as a part of the pregnancy package, carrying on until delivery, and in a worst-case scenario, accepting the injury way after the baby is born until it has become a chronic problem.
We can easily avoid this common scenario. If we are well prepared, we can enjoy an easy pregnancy, a speedy recovery and quickly regain a good figure.
The first thing I do with my client mums-to-be is to educate them about the changes and the challenges that their bodies will have to bear during these 9 months. I will also teach them how to prevent any risk of back problems developing during the pregnancy and, after delivery, developing a strong and healthy core and a good postural alignment.
